Confirmation
Your confirmation & door code
After you book, roomZy emails a confirmation with everything you need to show up and get in — the time, the place, and (at venues with smart locks) your door code.
What the email has
In your confirmation
- Your date and time, with the venue's time zone spelled out — no guessing if you booked from another city.
- The venue and a link back to its website.
- Your door code, if the venue uses smart locks (see below).
- A link to manage the booking if plans change.
How the door code works
At venues with smart locks, the venue chooses how you get in. Some give each booking its own numeric code; others unlock the door on their own for your window. A code, when there is one, starts working a little before your booking (commonly 20 minutes ahead) and stops after your session — so you can let yourself in, but it isn't a key to the building for all time.
At the door
- If you have a code, enter it on the lock's keypad when you arrive.
- If it's too early, wait until the lead-time window opens (the email tells you when).
- No code in your email? The venue may unlock for the booking instead, take payment first, or not use smart locks — check in at the desk.
Didn't get the email?
Quick checks
- Look in spam / promotions — the first message from a new sender often lands there.
- Confirm you used the right email address when booking.
- At a pay-online venue, the confirmation arrives after payment goes through — if you didn't finish paying, the booking isn't confirmed yet.
- You can always pull up the booking yourself — see Change or cancel a booking — or ask the venue.
