Gift cards: buying one, using one
A gift card is a code. Whoever holds it types it into the booking sheet and the value comes off before they pay — no account, no sign-in, fine on a first visit.
Buying one
On the venue's booking page
- Tap Gift cards at the top of the booking page (venues that sell them show it).
- Pick an amount, enter your own name and e-mail, the recipient's name and mobile number, and their e-mail if you have it. Add a message if you like.
- Pay by card. That's it.
Who gets what
- The recipient gets an e-mail with the amount, your message, and the gift code — GIFT-7K3Q-M2XD — if you gave their e-mail.
- You get a receipt with the same code, so you can hand it over in person or forward it. The card is tied to the recipient's mobile number either way.
Using one
When booking
- Book as normal — day, length, time, then the sheet.
- Type the code into the Discount or gift code box. The ticket at the top updates: "Gift card ····M2XD −$25 · $15 to pay", or Nothing to pay when it covers everything.
- Confirm. Anything left stays on the code for next time. It never expires.
Gift value covers everything on a booking, extras included. It also works with a discount code in the same booking. No sign-in is needed — the code is the proof.
For venue staff
Turn gift cards on and set the amounts under Settings → Payments (the Memberships, gift cards & points card; Stripe must be connected — the money goes to your account). The value sits on the recipient's guest record as a gift balance, so you can see it under Guests and adjust it there. At the desk, link the guest on a new reservation and tick Use their balance to apply it without the code.
